It is a good trend in music. Old songs are converted into the remix that are most liked by younger generations. This generation wants songs at a rapid pace and should have rocking music. The songs they have never heard of are popular in olden days. But it can be reproduced with different music and pace of song. Younger generation likes most of the remix songs. But many musicians felt that it is damaging the song's beautiness.

Music also needs a change when the environment is changing. If the younger generation hear old songs, they felt bored. If they hear remix, they felt happy but reality always has its pride. It is quite simple for the music composers to copy a hit song and modify the music and release it.

Hi to everyone. According to me nothing re invented is bad, its just the way of looking at the things. Its our mind which portray anything to be good or bad. Its our reflection which is making things look bad.

How could a new music be a bad idea to the old songs.
It gives new life to the old songs. Now its up to you whether you go for the older one or go for the remix one. NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO FOR THE REMIX IF IT IS HARMING YOUR HEALTH. See its about choice, AND WHICH IS IN OUR HAND. SO DON'T STOP ANY NEW IDEA FROM BEING IMPLEMENTED.
It is the creative mind which is showing us that the old song could also be presented in a new fashion. And so our youth would also hear it, we can have the idea of good lyrics. Which we may be missing because of our lack of interest in the old music.
See the old trend of music was for those people, that was their taste. BUT AS THE TIME CHANGES, THE TASTE TOO CHANGE. So it would be a good one for listening a song in more than one way.

And we can also learn from it that we are having multiple ways of doing any task. But the thing is we have to find it suitable for our customers, audience etc.

Well, even I don't support much of this remixing thing....especially since they r done blindly ruining the complete melody of the song....

i mean the hit songs are itself so melodious....why do u need to modify them anyhow....
the worst part is that even a sad song of ....for ex "TERE LIYE" movie is remixed into a fast number...and an already fast song is remixed with an even faster beat......Its almost done blindly.....i know that i may not have a great sense of music.... but people who originally composed d song had it.... den why do u need to modify them...just to make money??? Because on d melody front...its badly missing

Remixing, in my opinion is a very flattering tribute to the original musician. Imitation, they say is the highest form of flattery. In addition to that, some plus points of remixing are, it furthers the audiences' range and number. A song may be composed following a particular genre only, but after the process of remixed it becomes a hybrid and crosses over to other genres, thus increasing the the audience. Moreover, it also enables new artistes to make a break through into mainstream music scene under the banner of trendsetting numbers, at the same time increasing the royalty income of the original artiste(s), if distributed commercially. It also ensures endurance of a song.
Of course, there are instances where the remixed version may 'murder' the song. But such cases are rare and won't bypass the gate of production house for mass distribution.

"Give the world the best you have, and the best will come back to you"

I do not think remix mean it is destroying the old one, we should feel happy the particular old song has been chosen by the new generation to listen in new format.
Because we know that our old monuments and 7th wonders of world has been structured in Dubai that does not mean the original got vanished from the mind of people.
So if anything new version coming that should be accepted.

I am totally against the so called culture of remixing which is nothing but destroying the original. We all know that to create a song, writer, music director, photography works in tandem and that brings the best song. If the original song is good and acceptable to the people and that becomes the copy right itself. No one should have the liberty to steal the original track and just impose other unwanted loud music to cheer the young generation. Sooner if this trend continues, all the old melodies songs will vanish.
